The &#8220;Skogsmusen&#8221; project, located outside Gislaved in J\u00f6nk\u00f6ping County, will be built on an area of approximately 20 hectares with a total capacity of 14 megawatts.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cThis is our first solar park and we are incredibly excited to be able to deliver a project of this size that will generate renewable energy for at least 30 years to come. It feels especially important in a time where we all have to take responsibility both for our common energy needs and how we affect the climate,&#8221;<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> says Marcus Qviberg, CEO at Sunna.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A series of initiatives will be implemented to promote biodiversity at the site. Solar parks themselves can benefit many ground-nesting birds that may seek shade and protection from predators underneath the solar panels. The future park will not be fenced off in order to keep the land open to ensure that wildlife can continue to move freely within and through the area.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;For me as a landowner, the land has a very low value from a production perspective. To then use it and create locally produced solar power feels like the right thing to do. On our farm nearby, we also have locally produced milk from our company Henja Mj\u00f6lk, so that together with locally produced electricity from the sun feels like the perfect combination. The collaboration with Sunna has been perfect from the start and we have a fantastic dialogue,&#8221;<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> says landowner Johan Gustavsson.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sunna Group plans to start construction in the spring of 2023 and expects the solar park to be operational by summer. The project is being developed in cooperation with the local electricity grid company Gislaved Energi and the annual production is estimated to be 15 million kWh, which corresponds to the annual consumption of household electricity for more than 3,000 villas.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The application for consultation for the County Administrative Board has been prepared in cooperation with environmental consultants from Envigo.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;We would like to thank Sunna Group for the trust placed in us to assist with this permit application.
