Holma Solpark in operation \u2013 new large-scale solar power plant outside Falk\u00f6ping<\/h3>\n

The 16-hectare facility is located northeast of Falk\u00f6ping at Wrangelsholms S\u00e4teri, and with its 18,000 solar panels, it will generate approximately 14 gigawatt hours per year – equivalent to the annual household electricity consumption of 2 800 homes.<\/p>\n

\u2013 The fact that Holma Solpark, or Falken as we called the project during development, is now operational is proof of what is possible when we combine clear goals with good cooperation. We are proud of the collaboration with the landowners, Aneo, Solarwork, and everyone involved locally who made it possible to realize this solar park in such a short time. We at Sunna are now looking forward to managing the facility on behalf of Aneo, says Marcus Qviberg, CEO of Sunna Group.<\/p>\n

The solar park was developed by Sunna Group and built in close collaboration with the Norwegian company Aneo, which is the owner of the facility. Sunna was responsible for project management during construction and will also manage the facility now that it is operational.<\/p>\n

The swift process from land agreement to operational solar park has been made possible by efficient permitting work by the County Administrative Board of V\u00e4stra G\u00f6taland, smooth and fast grid connection thanks to Falbygdens Energi, financing and takeover of the facility by Aneo, and safe and high-quality construction by Solarwork.<\/p>\n

\u2013 We are seeing rapidly growing demand for renewable energy, and solar power is an important complement to both wind and hydro power. With Holma, we are demonstrating that it is possible to develop, build, and commission large solar power plants in a short period of time, says Beate Nesje at Aneo.<\/p>\n

Holma Solar Park is located on low-yield agricultural land that has mostly been fallow for more than two decades. The establishment of the solar park allows the land to be used in a long-term sustainable way, while the design enables the continued use of grazing alongside electricity production.<\/p>\n

The solar park is also built without surrounding fencing, which reduces barrier effects for animals and nature and is in line with Sunna Group’s work to combine renewable energy with consideration for nature and local benefits.<\/p>\n
