Progress for renewable energy in Västra Götaland! Construction of the 13 MWp Falken project outside Falköping is now underway.
Construction is now underway on Falbygden’s largest solar park at Wrangelsholm säteri, an important project that Sunna Group is proud to lead and will manage for Aneo. This is a crucial step in the right direction to meet the growing local electricity demand in the county and reduce our dependence on fossil fuels, here and now.
This 17-hectare facility, equipped with 18 000 solar panels, will generate around 14 gigawatt hours per year – equivalent to the annual electricity consumption of around 2 700 homes. This is a major step towards a more sustainable future and a reduced need for fossil energy in the region.
Linnéa Johansson, Project Manager at Sunna Group, and the rest of the team are excited to see this become a reality.
– It feels great. We are of course eager to get started, says Linnéa.
The project is financed and owned by Aneo. Solarwork is responsible for the construction and the connection to the electricity grid is provided by Falbygdens Energi Nät AB.
Construction will also soon begin on another solar park project in Falköping municipality, which we call “Stensamlaren” in Skånum.
