As 2024 approaches its conclusion, we look back on an eventful year for us at Sunna Group.
We summarize the year with a few words from our CEO Marcus Qviberg and a summary of some of the things we have achieved during the year:
- Sunna with our CEO Marcus Qviberg was named Innovation Champion of the Year and winner of the Olle Oscarson Scholarship at the Guldgalan in Östersund
- Commissioned Sweden’s first large-scale solar park without fences and on low-productive forest land: Henja Solpark
- Our pilot plant Lilla Norrskenet in Luleå won the Solar Energy Prize 2024 in the category Ground Plant of the Year and celebrates one year in operation
- Approaching 300 MW in permits & 900 MW total in pipeline
- Development of our platform for analyzing electricity grids and land conditions in collaboration with Mapbox and Metria
- Rolled out AI on Google Workspace with Gemeni Advanced to the entire Sunna Group
- Enabled an additional +45 MW of large-scale, locally produced solar power in Falköping municipality and Västra Götaland county with the help of Nordion Energi and Falbygdens Energi
- We have been accepted as full members of Energiföretagen
