Sunna is developing a large-scale solar park on land affected by flooding and unsuitable for agriculture.
The solar park is located in the municipality of Norrköping and will generate green electricity, free of carbon dioxide, for a period of about 35 years.
Sunna is developing a large-scale solar park to strengthen the renewable electricity production in southern Sweden together with local landowners and long-term investors. The planned park is located on the peninsula of Vikbolandet in the municipality of Norrköping in electric grid area SE3. Large parts of the planned site have historically been affected by flooding, which has made the land unsuitable for agriculture to any significant extent.
The permit process is currently underway with the County Administrative Board of Östergötland and the relevant grid owner for the connection of the park.
The planned facility is located southeast of Östra Husby on Vikbolandet and will cover a total area of approximately 90 ha.
